Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TTRPG) where Alex & others meet to experience adventures. Usually run by a Game Master (GM) for a small group of players who assume the role of fictional characters. Dungeons & Dragons is the best known TTRPG but other popular options include Blades in the dark, Call of Cthulhu, Fallout & Ten candles.
Every kind hearted and spirited individual from anywhere in the world coming in good faith is welcome to enter the hole and slay the Wyrm.
The fantasy realm opens every weekday, 18:00 - 22:00 at The Village, 18 Liliencron Street.

Founded in 2017, Fianchetto Chess Academy is a local Namibian chess school, with a local flare that also embraces an international outlook in its efforts to provide instruction, training, and competitive opportunities in chess for our students.

Leveraging on the experience, passion and dedication of two young, dynamic and innovative Woman Candidate Masters in Namibia, Fianchetto (a special move in a game of chess, which originates from an Italian word meaning “little flank”), wishes to promote the game of chess in Namibia for its vast educational, strategical, analytical, and personal development benefits.
Anyone older than four can join the academy, with different packages which meet the goals and expectations of each player.

We have different packages ranging from chess in school, all pupils at the schools where we offer chess; Saturday chess lessons, for anyone who cannot attend lessons during the week; Private lessons, for those who wish to have one on one session with the coach in a week; and corporate chess for companies who want to use chess as a tool for strategy building in the business world.
Depending on the package we provide lessons at many different locations and are mostly mobile.

Chess In schools: We offer the lessons at the various schools (DHPS, Windhoek Gymnasium, Amazing Kids Private School, Cosmo Kids, Montessori Little Berries, Martti Ahtisaari Primary School etc).

Saturday lessons: From 09h30-12h00 at The Villiage, 18 Liliencron Street, Eros.

Private lessons: Agreed Days between the coach and student, at The Village, 18 LilIencron Street, Eros.

Corporate package: At the respective company premises to whom we offer this workshop.
Depending on the desired package there are different ways to go about joining the Academy.

We accommodate all levels of play from grassroot beginner levels to advanced level.
